What a story! What a lady!

I have read this book more than once. The author's honesty and candid approach to all the events in her life is amazing. Thank you for sharing "Behind the Curtain" to those of us who need to know it is safe the other side of the curtain and there is life after domestic abuse and active alcoholism. I agree with the last sentence in the book: "There is no feeling in the world that beats being sober." Thank you. Keep writing.

What a brave woman!!!

Once I started reading this book, I couldn't put it down!!! I commend the author for her bravery and honesty in writing about her life story! I think that any reader will find points of relevance to their own lives in this book, I certainly did.
She is so descriptive and authentic in her writing that I felt like I was experiencing her journey while reading the book.

Excellent read!

From the very beginning of this book I felt as though I was right there experiencing the journey. This personal narrative is an example of experience, strength, and hope fulfilled and deserves a place on the AA approved reading list, and an author-approved documentary in alcohol and drug treatment centers. Thank you!
